Running for research: BCF at the Telethon 24×1 Hour Relay in Udine

On the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd, Team BCF brought passion and dedication to the Telethon 24×1 Hour Relay in Udine, a crucial charity run supporting research on rare genetic diseases.

 

Contributing to a noble cause

BCF’s participation meant more than just a material contribution; it involved sharing unique emotions in the vibrant atmosphere created by the event. This gathering, part of one of the major fundraising projects in Europe, has already funded over 1600 researchers and 2800 projects dedicated to rare genetic diseases.

 

Shared emotions and commitment

With hundreds of teams and thousands of participants, the enthusiasm was palpable. The gratifying effort of the run combined with shared emotions, sealed by the passing of the baton and teammates’ embraces.

A memorable route in the heart of Udine

The relay route covered approximately 1,500 meters through iconic city locations, enriched by the ‘Telethon Village’ and lively participation from youth relays, involving students from primary and secondary schools in the area.
